INDIAN SUMMER
On a visit to Mumbai, Will stumbles across a slum orphanage and grudgingly accepts a plea for help. His realisation of the determined, light-hearted nature of a bunch of children, whose only hope is threatened by corporate enterprise, sees him swept away in an Indian torrent of school drama and Bollywood film while trying to save the slum school. Indian Summer is a comic and poignant account about making a difference, regardless of its magnitude, exposing the India few tourists could see.
SOLOMON TIME
Echoing the experiences of Robert Louis Stevenson, here is the story of a contemporary writer who lived in and came to love the Solomon Islands. Most unexpectedly, Will Randall, once a happy schoolteacher, found himself dispatched to a small village on a not very large island, far out in the vastness of the South Pacific. His mission (although he had hardly chosen to accept it): - to fulfil the dying wishes of the 'Commander' and help the local people set up a money-making community project.

BOTSWANA TIME
Through a series of serendipitous encounters, Will finds himself in Botswana, the country which has built itself into a beacon of wealth and stability. Here his career veers enchantingly off the beaten track to the tiny town of Kasane - a place that has a "very good prison" and arguably the best football team in the land. It is a town where both Randall and teaching are welcomed with unquestioning openness - and where Randall learns, mostly through (mis)adventure, all about Botswana.

ANOTHER LONG DAY ON THE PISTE
In the charming Alpine backwater of Mont St Bernard, Will's adventures start badly when he spends his first night in a freezing garage under a mountain of unwashed socks. Dismally unfashionable and hopeless at skiing, Randall realises he must compete for the attention of the local female population with goatee-wearing, lip-studded dudes fifteen years his junior. But when a Russian oligarch selects him to tutor his son, it would appear that rejection and public humiliation are the least of his worries.
LIMEY GUMSHOE
As the latest addition to Boston’s P.I. community, Randall tails mongrels and errant husbands, attends a seminar on Blood Spatter and is recruited in a lapdancing club by an anti-government go-go girl. Then emotional stakes are suddenly raised when Will Randall, unlikely Limey Gumshoe, finds himself investigating the disappearance of a sixteen-year-old girl from her affluent home, and fighting to save a vulnerable boy from the housing projects from a miscarriage of justice.
